  The ultimate goal of the GO LOCAL West Shore Food Strategy is to influence the overall planning, design and management effort required to increase the food sustainability of the West Shore communities of Colwood, Langford, View Royal, Metchosin and Highlands.

• Island Chefs' Collaborative
  Social profit organization consisting of chefs and others in the hospitality industry who are passionate about local food and farms. Each year, the Island Chefs' hold their marquee fundraiser at Colwood's Fort Rodd Hill National Historic Site. Funds raised support local farms.
   
• WestShore Harvest
  Information and resources on anything you and others on the West Shore might want to know about local food; where to buy it, how to grow it, what time of the year you should put it on the menu and how to serve it up tasty!
